Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Cryptverse collects, how we use it, who can access it, and the choices you have. For a shorter overview, see Your data & security.

Last updated: May 2026

Summary

Cryptverse (cryptverse.studio) runs the studio site, Talent, and Marketplace. When you create an account, send us a message, or use our tools, we collect information needed to operate those services.

We use industry-standard hosting and sign-in providers. We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers. For a plain-language overview, read Your data & security.

This page is provided for transparency. It is not legal advice.

Who this policy applies to

This policy covers visitors and registered members of Cryptverse websites and services operated under Cryptverse Studios, including Talent and Marketplace when accessed through our domains.

Live games we publish with partners may have additional rules in separate publishing agreements. Partner games are not fully described here.

Information we collect

Depending on how you use Cryptverse, we may collect:

  • Account information — email address, display name, profile details, preferences, and subscription plan (if applicable).
  • Authentication data — sign-in handled by WorkOS AuthKit. We receive account identifiers and session tokens; passwords are processed by the auth provider, not stored as plain text on our servers.
  • Communications — messages you send through Contact, support requests, and in-product messaging on Talent or Marketplace when those features are in use.
  • Transaction-related data — billing handled by payment processors. We receive confirmation of payment and subscription status, not full card numbers stored on our servers.
  • Usage and device data — IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and actions taken on the platform (for example, features used or errors encountered).
  • Site chat (optional) — if you use the floating assistant on cryptverse.studio, the text you send is transmitted to a third-party AI provider to generate a reply.
  • Cookies and similar tech — session cookies for sign-in, security, and basic site functionality. See Cookies below.

How we use your information

We use collected information to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Provide Talent, Marketplace, and studio services you request.
  • Respond to contact messages and support requests.
  • Process subscriptions and marketplace transactions through payment partners.
  • Send service-related email (account notices, security alerts, product updates).
  • Monitor for fraud, abuse, and security incidents.
  • Improve reliability, fix bugs, and understand how features are used.
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not use your email or profile for unrelated third-party advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

What we never ask for

  • Your Roblox account password or one-time login codes.
  • Payment card numbers through contact forms — checkout uses payment processors.
  • Private keys, API secrets, or cryptocurrency wallet seed phrases.

Do not share secrets in the site chat assistant or unsecured email if you can avoid it.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data only in these situations:

  • Service providers who help us run Cryptverse — for example hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), email delivery (Resend), authentication (WorkOS), payment processing, and AI inference for the site chat. They may use data only to perform services for us.
  • Other members when you choose to make information public (for example, a developer profile on Talent or a seller listing on Marketplace).
  • Legal and safety when required by law, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security of Cryptverse, our users, or the public.
  • Business changes if Cryptverse is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale. We would continue to protect your information and notify you where required by law.

How we protect your data

We use HTTPS on public pages, encrypted session handling, access controls for internal systems, and reputable infrastructure providers. Sensitive configuration (API keys, database credentials) is kept in server environment variables, not in public code.

No online service can guarantee perfect security. If we learn of a breach that affects your account, we will take steps to investigate and notify you where required by law.

How long we keep data

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

  • Account data — retained while your account exists. You may request deletion (see Your rights).
  • Contact messages — kept as long as needed to respond and maintain a record of the conversation.
  • Server logs — kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting, then rotated or deleted.
  • Chat assistant data — kept only as long as needed for the session, abuse prevention, or quality review, according to provider and hosting settings.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for sign-in sessions, security, and basic site operation. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

We do not use third-party advertising cookies to track you across unrelated websites.

Site chat assistant

The optional chat bubble on cryptverse.studio sends your messages to a third-party AI service to generate replies. Do not paste passwords, financial details, or other secrets into chat.

Chat is not a channel for legal notices or binding agreements. Use Contact for official requests.

Talent and Marketplace

Using Talent or Marketplace may involve additional data — portfolio content, job postings, messages between members, purchase history, and payout details. That data is used to operate those products and is subject to this policy unless a separate notice applies.

Payment and payout information is processed by established payment providers. We receive status and metadata needed to complete transactions, not full payment credentials stored on Cryptverse servers.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Receive a copy of your data in a portable format where applicable.

To exercise these rights, contact us through Contact with the subject line privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before processing a request.

You can also:

  • Update profile details in your account settings when available.
  • Opt out of non-essential marketing email using unsubscribe links.
  • Skip the site chat if you do not want messages sent to an AI provider.

California notice at collection

If California privacy law applies to you, this section summarizes our practices at the time we collect information:

  • Categories collected — identifiers (name, email), account credentials (via auth provider), commercial information (transactions), internet activity (logs, usage), and communications you send us.
  • Purposes — provide services, security, support, billing, product improvement, and legal compliance.
  • Sale or sharing — we do not sell personal information for money. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Retention — as described in How long we keep data above.

California residents may submit requests through Contact with California privacy request in the message. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights.

Children

Cryptverse services are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take steps to delete it.

International users

Cryptverse is operated from the United States. If you access our services from other regions, your information may be processed in the U.S. or where our service providers operate. We use providers that apply appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers where required.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when we add features, products, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of Cryptverse after changes means you accept the updated policy.
